My classes are online and limited to 10 students. I've been teaching online since 2010 and tutoring online since 2017, so I'm a pro at this. Keep reading for the details.

Course Features
Did I mention virtual? This is just as awesome as in-person, just ask some of my former students. They're signed up again this year.
There is no textbook required, as it is available fully online (with fully worked solutions for most of the assigned problems). It is available for purchase, used, at reasonable prices.
Assignments and materials will be available through Schoology, a great learning management system.
Independent work (homework) is assigned using a tailoring system that serves both the struggling student and the honors student.
Grading suggestions and assessments will be offered so that you can determine what is best for your student and award their grade yourself.

Which class should my student take?
If your student has taken some math in the public schools, here is my general recommendation.
Math 7 take Pre-Algebra
Math 7 Plus/Honors (A or B & limited difficulty) take Algebra I
Math 7 Plus/Honors (any other situation) take Pre-Algebra
Math 8 take Algebra I
Math I (A or B & limited difficulty) take Geometry.
Math I (any other situation) take Algebra I
Math II (A or B & limited difficulty) take Geometry or skip to Algebra II, if not college bound
Math II (any other situation) take Geometry because it provides a review of some of Algebra 1
Please let me know if you have questions.
Pricing
$550 in 1, 2, or 4 payments (Deposit of $50, 8/15, 9/15, 10/15, 11/15)
Families registering more than one student will receive $25 off for each of their students. This will be taken from the 8/15 payment.
Classes will only be held with 4 or more students having paid deposits by 7/1.
Scholarships: If you believe that you have special circumstances, you can include the details of that when you submit your registration. I will award one $100 scholarship when the class reaches 6 students and another $100 scholarship when the class reaches 8 students. These scholarships will be awarded entirely based on my perception of need and will only consider those who have made a deposit.
